European Union standard EN 1177

These practical rubber tiles are manufactured in Latvia and comply with European Union standard EN 1177, which is one of the most important parameters for rubber tiles indicating the maximum mechanical impact and shock absorption qualities.

Tiling Rubberis rubber tiles is simple and easy enough for you to do it without an assistance of a professional.

1. Join the rubber tiles by inserting the plastic fasteners – anchors through the holes on the sides of the tiles.

2. Join the tiles in an alternating surface pattern.

3. Join the tiles until you have covered the surface area.

INSTRUCTIONS FOR INSTALLING PDF

• Do not install rubber tiles if the room temperature is below 4°C (or if the outside temperature is below 4°C when surfacing outdoor areas)

• Lay out the rubber tiles on an even surface 24 hours prior to tiling (the tiles should not be stacked in more than 2 to 3 layers); this will ensure that the tiles take on the manufactured shape and size.

• When installing the flooring indoors, rubber tiles should be placed directly on the even surface.

• When installing the surfacing outdoors, the area should be prepared accordingly:

1. The first layer is composed of 150 mm of macadam (the diameter of the broken stone should be 32 mm).

2. The second layer is composed of a mixture of sand and broken stone or a 33 mm layer of gravel (the diameter of gravel should be 8 mm).

3. The third layer can be composed of the same mixture, but of smaller diameter – up to 5 mm.

4. The upper layer of geotextile is placed directly underneath the rubber tiles.

5. Note that all layers must be rammed.
